Raffaella Rojatti She received her degree (Licence) in Translation from the Institut Supérieur de l'Etat de Traducteurs et Interprètes in Brussels in 1987 with a thesis on the Thirld World debt and has worked as a translator specializing in economics and finance since 1992. Since 1999 she has participated in the translation of the Monthly Bulletin of the European Central Bank for the Bank of Italy. She translated into Italian Accounting for tastes by Gary Becker and Barriers to Riches by Parente and Prescott (both published by Università Bocconi Editore), Scienza e società: dieci Nobel per il futuro (a collection of texts by the Nobel Laureates W. Arber, G. Debreu, W. Leontieff, B. Lown e J.D. Watson published by Marsilio) and L'automa spiriturale. Menti, cervelli e computer (a collection of texts on the mind/body problem published by Laterza). In 2004-2005 and 2006-2007 she taught an Italian revision course at the Libera Università degli Studi S. Pio V in Rome. She is a founding partner and director of makeperfect.
Brendan Jones He received his bachelor's degree with honors in Philosophy at the University of Connecticut in 1985 and completed a master's degree in Political Philosophy at the London School of Economics the following year. Since 1992 he has worked as a translator specializing in economics and finance for client including: the Bank of Italy (where he was in-house consultant until May 2001), the Italian Parliament, the Italian Prime Minister's Office and the Italian Treasury, for whom he translated the project "Conti pubblici territoriali" (Regional Public Accounts), run by the Public Investment Evaluation Unit, in addition to preparatory documentation for the introduction of the euro. He translated the English version of The Foundations of Economic Policy and Economic Policy in the Age of Globalisation, by Nicola Acocella, published by Cambridge University Press. He is a founding partner and director of makeperfect.
Translation and editing:
Zoe Milak She received her bachelor's degree from Chicago's Loyola University in 1993 before earning a degree in Law from the University of Chicago Law School in 1997. She is a member of the New York and Illinois Bar Associations. She worked for eight years at a Rome law firm, where she was responsible for the translation of legal documentation and instruments for both official and client use; during this time she was also involved in providing legal assistance to private and company clients on a range of international legal issues. Since January 2006 she has been a senior translator and revisor for makeperfect.
Anna Scardini She received her degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1993 and has worked as a translator from German and English into Italian since 1994. After working for the Italian National Olympic Committee's school of sports, for which she translated articles, documents and manuals on sports medicine, physiology and sports psychology, between 2000 and 2007 she worked on a freelance basis with a variety of companies and institutions, including the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union in Luxembourg. She has worked with makeperfect since the company's founding and has been an in-house translator since June 2007.

Gina Marie Spinelli She received her bachelor's degree in French Literature from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania, in 1984. Since 1989, she has taught English at the Italian Army Foreign Language School. As part of her duties, she was tutor for the English Discoveris program for the Italian Army Chief of Staff and was extensively involved in revising teaching programs in compliance with the NATO STANAG 6001 standard and creating experimental distance teaching courses employing the Internet and multimedia technologies. Since 2005 she has overseen makeperfect's language training services
